The Latest Car Seat Guidelines

by Paula

Did you know that some car seat guidelines may have changed since your last baby was in an infant seat? Many moms may have switched their first child’s car seat from rear- to front-facing when they turned one, but today, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that parents keep their children in rear-facing car seats until the age of two - unless they reach the maximum height and weight for their seat before then. We know you get anxious to turn that seat around so you can see that adorable face in the rear view mirror, but following these new guidelines for as long as you can will help keep your baby as safe as possible.
